| kyb_report | 8 credits + 5 per officer screened, max 5 officers; former officers only with include_former_officers |
kyb_report is metered: the base covers the registry sections and the screening of the company name; each officer name screened adds the screen_sanctions price, for at most the cap. Current officers are screened by default; former ones only when you ask with include_former_officers. Officers over the cap are listed in the answer so you can screen them one by one.
Charging rules
- Every definitive answer is charged, including "not found" (the registry was asked and answered). A cached answer costs the same as a live one;
meta.cached,fetched_atanddata_as_ofsay which it was. - Nothing is charged, or the charge is refunded automatically, when the upstream registry could not answer (timeout, 5xx, unreadable answer, our own queue to the registry full): the API answers 503 with
Retry-After. The same refund applies to any internal failure after the charge (the API answers 500). - Malformed requests (bad country, malformed id, wrong check digit, country not supported yet) answer 400 and are not charged.
- Too few credits answers 402 and nothing is charged.
